This is an independent website presenting ship models aviable at the Sea Shore shop located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Here is a great selection of Asian Junk and Boatmodels, Western famous Warships, Clippers, Schooners and Pioneer-ships from the 13th. Century to the 20th. Century. All shipmodels here is handcrafted from teakwood certified by Thailand's Royal Forest Department, or recycled teakwood. There are two manufacturing units, owned and operated by separate branches of a family who also own the shop. The modelbuilders are higly skilled, with a wealth of experience, they have been creating shipmodels for well over a decade. All models are great as a present, home decoration or office decoration. Teak Modelship is Supporting Local Charity!
Teak Modelship donates a part of the proceeds made from selling modelships from this website to "Support the Children Foundation" of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The foundation's staff works volutary for orphans who lost their parents in AIDS, and have been doing so for two decades. Many of the children have developed AIDS. In the homes operated by the foundation they get care, love, comfort, education and medication.For more info click on the Logo below.
